A Bit About Us

Pheif's Garden

Then there's this guy

Me and My Shadow - Part 2.

Pheifer has finished her second intense chemotherapy treatment - another four weeks. Her body seems to be stronger as she blasted through them recuperating in less time that her first round of treatments. Again she has her sisters' support.

Mickey and Doppler celebrated their 13th birthday on May 16 and Pheifer celebrated her birthday on May 17. This was special day for all of them because yipppeee, they made it. Pheif is now able to hang out on her own in my gym area and she supports me when I feel lazy. When I am feeling lazy or can't seem to push myself all I have to do is to look at her and I immediately stop feeling sorry for myself.

Pheifer is officially in remission and is now on a two week maintenance program, meaning she has chemo once every two weeks. As long as she stays in remission the maintenance program will change to three weeks after about six months. She still has to be segregated from her sisters for 72 hours after a treatment while her white blood cell count recovers, and she still requires special care for those hours. She continues to receive medication around the clock and I suspect that will probably continue for the rest of her life.

In the meantime she enjoys being outside under supervision and can't get enough sun!!!

Thank you for your support and prayers.
